Thane - Gumtara Fort, Bhiwandi

Due lockdown and increase in cases of Covid-19, The Expeder did not organise any cycling expedition or camps for couple of months, so last week I and Om Pawar decide to go for a small cycling route of 30 km, and trek to  Gumtara Fort, Bhiwandi. We decided and on 28/05/2021 we packed our bags and took way to the Gumtara Fort base. Some essential things, Tent and some food stuffs thats it and we were ready for the route. We started our journey by 2200 Hrs. Started our journey from the Majiwada signal. By crossing the Kasheli, Kalher, Rahnal, Narpoli etc. we continued on the highway under the moonlight and entered Bhiwandi. We kept on cycling by cracking jokes and talking with each other.  Date : 26, 27/02/2021 Starting Point : Majiwada Signal, Thane. Destination : Karnala Fort, Karnala Bird Sanctury, Pen. Camp Site : Karnala Fort Base. Distance : 50 Km. Trekking Point : Karnala Fort. Altitude : 493 m Another Day Another Expedition, after rest of almost 2 months we decided to go for trek to Karnala Fort. Everyone was doing individual cycling activities and were busy with the work of The Expeder Training Centre, which is a branch of The Expeder. We decided to execute the plan of Thane to Karnala Fort Cycling and Trekking alongwith exploring the bird sanctury. On the D-Day we meet at 1800 Hrs. at Majiwada Signal, Thane. Altitude : 646 m Another Day Another Expedition, this time I , Field Officer of Cycling Expedition Organizing Group The Expeder, organized two night one day cycling expedition with trek. The meeting point was Nitin Company Bridge as usual and the reporting time was 1730 hrs. on 30/01/2021. The planning was done almost one month before and on D-Day everyone was excited with their bags. I was carrying rucksack weighing 15 kg. We started our way to Kalavantin Durg, Panvel. We started peddling with a speed of 15-20 km/hr. It was not tht much exhausting as it was evening time.  Date : 02, 03, 04/01/2021 Starting Point : Nitin Company Signal, Thane. Destination : Chochi, Karjat. Camp Site : Chochi, Karjat. Distance : 90 Km. Trekking Point : Rajmachi Fort. Altitude : 826 m Another Day Another Expedition, but this time I was riding on cycle as a Field Officer of Cycling Expedition Organizing group, The Expeder. Officially I formed a group and named it 'The Expeder.' I appointed myself as a Field Officer of the group. In the mint of December we made a plan of Rajmachi Fort, Karjat cycling route and trekking alongwith camping. We made proper plan and shared the idea with some of my contact and got great response from them. Almost 15 people hot ready for the trek and camping and from them 6 were there for cycling. Finally before D-Day 3 of them cancelled their application and at last we got 12 participants for the first event. 4 were cyclist and rest of the participants were coming by their individual vehicles for camp and trek.
