Thane - Diva - Ambarnath Shiva Temple Round Trip.
Date : 28/11/2020
Starting Point : Hazuri, Thane.
Destination : Thane - Diva - Ambarnath Round Trip
Distance : 20 km + 20 km
Another Day Another Expedition, a week before we were planning to go somewhere else, but as we didn't got enough partners who will joined us so we cancelled the plan and took decision around at 2100 Hrs., That we'll go to Ambarnath Shiv Temple, I searched it and got very awesome pictures and scenary so I decided and shared idea with Dhanashree. I told her I'll step out and will meet her in Diva, somewhere near her home. Generally as a student if lecture time is 0900 Hrs. I will definitely break my sleep around at 0845 Hrs. And as I wanted to go for an expedition I woke up at 0500 Hrs. before the alarm rings. After packing my bag and wearing clothes also after tightening the shoelaces I took a step out exactly at 0600 Hrs. I started my ride to the Diva. It was nice and cold atmosphere that gave me enough energy to ride continuosly to the Diva. I started clicking pictures while riding as I wanted to be an Unstoppable.
I continued my ride and finally pulled the break lever in Diva.
I was waiting for Dhanashree then and she came with her new cycle. I first congratulated her for new cycle and then we started the ride to the Ambarnath Temple. Slowly we covered 10 km distance and we were very amazed that now it's only 10km left. I remember that song, "यु ही कट जाएगा सफर साथ चलने से,..." I got actual meaning of the lyrics on that day. Both of us were enjoying each other's company and finally we entered Ambarnath city and soon reached the destination.
It was little bit confusing as we were searching for the temple but from a fair distance we saw the flag and started our way to the Temple. Finally we entered the Lord Shiva Temple, Ambarnath. It was very great great architectural piece. I was shocked that how our ancestors have done this in the era of no power tool. Even with the highly precised and moder tools we can't do such incredible art work and then the tagline ran in my mind, 'Incredible India..!'
Again, as it is Shiva Temple I eagerly wanted to do Abhishekam on Shivlinga. I searched for pot to hold water but didn't get any so I asked Sadhu who was sitting at the main gate of temple for such pot, so he gave me his Kamandalu for the Abhishekam. I was very glad and immediately went to fill the water and after taking water in Kamandalu I went inside and did Abhishekam.
I asked Dhanashree that she want to do it, but we ran out of water so one aunty who was working there, I think so, told me to take the empty buckets and bring them filling water from outside. I went out and I did the work. As my grandmother always told me if someone give us order to do something in temple then it's our fortune and we should not refuse to do work so I did it and then I spent some more time in main temple chanting, ' Om Namah Shivay...!' the temple itself creating echo so it was very awesome moment for us. One strange person then came to me and gave a pack of incense stick and Prasad. I lightened the sticks and again chanted some Mantras and Shlokas and kept those sticks aside and then took a step out of temple. Then started clicking some pictures of the temple from outside.
Then we went to a tea stall and ordered tea and biscuits, we enjoyed that tea and suddenly a cat came to me and was giving me very cute look, so I gave her piece of biscuits and I think she thanked me.
Then Dhanashree told me that ANO Dr. Radhika Mukherjee, of Girls NCC Unit of out esteemed college Satish Pradhan Dnyanasadhana College, Thane, lives in Ambarnath only. So we made a call to her and greeted her, and then continued our day story. We asked ma'am that where she lives so that we'll be there to meet her. She gave the adress and we started our ride once again for a unplanned trip. It was almost 5 Km so we started peddling, also it was an uphill with 30-40° inclination that was looking where we are Giving Up. But without getting down and pulling the cycle we continued peddling even on that inclination under the scorching sun around at 1100 Hrs. After crossing few kilometres Dhanashree showed me a square and it was Amar Jawan Jyoti. I immediately stopped the ride and took out the flag and clicked some pictures there too.
After riding all 5 Km we finally reached Mohan Suburbia, where ma'am lives. We parked our cycles under the building and entered Radhika Ma'am house. After meeting her daughter actually I realised why ma'am call her angel as before I just saw her in pictures. And actually she is very cute and was busy with her mobile. Ma'am told her to come out and meet her first children, ma'am said, "see who is here, Mumma ke first bacha," as ma'am treat us as we are her own children.
We washed our hands and ma'am told me that I've to take a NCC lecture on General Awareness, for NCC girls unit, Satish Pradhan Dnyanasadhana College and CHM College. This was literally surprise for me and I was not having single idea about what I'm going to take in lecture. Still as one lecture was going on zoom app, ma'am gave us some snacks. A very tasty Dahi Kachori and Samosa, also then she brought a milk sweet called 'Chamcham.' After finishing some snacks I took mobile in hand and started taking notes on Women Safety as a topic of General Awareness. I was continuosly thinking how to start, link up the topics, what kind of questions will be asked by the participants and other things. Then ma'am handed the mobile to me and I started the lecture. I introduced myself by saying I'm Student Representative of Women Development Cell of Satish Pradhan Dnyanasadhana College, so I'm about to go for a interactive discussion on Women Safety.
After giving some tips and some debates and conversation I completed the lecture and handed mobile to the Radhika Ma'am. Then ma'am started praising me and as she said, "Rohan is a very good boy and he is my Son." I got tears in my eyes and then ended the lecture. Then ma'am offered us Daal Khichadi, she said, I can't make a good Veg Food, but the Daal Khichadi was very awesome and tasty. After eating and taking some pictures with the family, we started discussing about some other plans with Radhika Ma'am. After some rest and talks we that we have to leave or will take more time for reaching home. We took a step out of home around at 1500 Hrs. Ma'am also came down to give us a farewell and then we requested ma'am to take one round of cycle. And even after very long time ma'am rode on cycle and completed 2 rounds of the complex. We clickd some pictures of her and recorded some video and she also enjoyed as we do.
And then we started our way back to the home. After a traffic ride and continuous ride on Kalyan - Shil fata highway we reached Diva. During the whole ride I forgot to click with Compass so there I took out and clicked some pictures.
Then I met my another friend and NCC colleague, Pratidnya And she took us to the home. She offered tea and greeted us very well. Then I took another stop at Dhanashree's home also met her mother and had a great discussion with her too. I estimated that I'll take almost 3 - 4 hours to reach Thane and will be at home around at 1900 Hrs. But I was still there in Diva at 1830. I finally took a step out from her home and started my way back to the Home. Again rode on highway and then took a off-road which was connecting Diva - Shil road to the Mumbra - Thane Road. It was very awesome off-road ride and also it was for the first time when I was doing a night off-road ride. Nothing was visible as it was dark night time and was riding under moon light. I was just guessing what will be ahead, either a deep depression or an elevation. By handling cycle and balancing myself on it I completed that off-road and came on proper concrete road. After crossing the Mumbra I reached a road junction at Kalwa. I clicked some more pictures there and for the first time is clicked a picture by adjusting some camera settings. It was a successful shutter click.
Then again I started my ride to the home and finally after riding 4-5 km I reached home safely but little tired. And once again it was a literal day when I Explored By Compass And Not By Clock.
