Round Trip :
Yesterday,on 11/11/2020, after coming back home and doing some household stuffs I was supposed to take rest but I asked my brother, Atharva, that would he like to join me for small cycle ride to Kolshet Creek. He said yes first of all and we planned that we'll take step out at 0600 Hrs. but then dad told me to do some work and I spent some time there. Also Atharva was in deep sleep. So I made another plan to meet my friend. I took my step out around at 0930 Hrs. But friend also faced some problem so plan was cancelled. I took my way back to home by keeping Google maps on. I found that Khidkali, Mahadev Temple, is just 20 Km away from the location so I decided to go there. I came home around at 1000 Hrs. and started packing my back. I took two bottles as usual and wore a cargo pants, camouflage t-shirt and gloves that I bought 3 years ago. Tightened shoelaces and started peddling. Took a way to the Khidkali, via Kharegaon. As soon as I left Kalwa city behind I got a continuous uphill in Mumbra city. It was very great as I reached at the base of Mumbra Devi Temple. I clicked some pictures and continued my ride.

I got a downhill then which gave me speed of almost 30-35 Km/hr or more. Somewhere near a junction which connects some highways there was a huge pipe leakage and that made road too much risky. The person who was riding on activa along parallel to me accidentally fallen as his front tyre got in the pothole. I stopped, helped him and then put a branch of tree as a sign there. Then I continued my ride to the Khidkali Temple. I finally reached Khidkali Temple and yelled, "Shambhoo..." By joining both hands.

I reached there and outside of the temple at the gate locked my cycle and get inside the temple. The inner temple i.e. Gabhara was closed and locked. But I was willing to go inside and do Abhishekam on Shivling, but due to covid-19 pandemic temple was closed. I sat down in Padmasana and started chanting, 'Om... Namah... Shivay...!' I stood up then and started clicking some pictures around. Then after that I made a video call to my mother and showed her the place it was a kind of surprise for her. "I did it !" I said and she replied, "yeah ! See there some turtles and many more fishes in the lake. Have a look there. " I did and clicked their pictures too.

After that I was about to leave and wore right shoe and just wore left sock the Pujari opened the door of inner temple. I was very excited to go inside and soon went to them and requested them to allow me to go inside. They allowed. It was very great moment for me. I took one vessel and filled it with water. Then I went inside and did Abhishekam to the Shivling i.e. Khidkaleshwar Mahadev, Khidkali.

I kept on saying, "Om Namah Shivay...'  and then I muttered to myself "you are very lucky Rohan...", And composed one shayari, " इरादे तो रोज बनते हैं, रोज बिगड़ते है। लेकिन महदेव सिर्फ उन्हें मिलते है, जिन्हें वह खुद बुलाते है ।" and literally I was planning trip to Khidkali from last many years but no any was neither successful nor even started. This time I did it. After that I started my ride and took my way to Kopar.

Kopar, where I just wanted to meet my princess. My aunt's daughter, Trisha. I went there and spent a very good time with her. She sat on cycle and then refused to get off.

I said, "you are going to be Jr. Cyclist. After some rest and eating something there and also spending some more time with Trisha, I packed up and started riding back to the home. As I got off, Trisha started crying, I was feeling very sad to leave her like that, but on other hand I was about to leave otherwise will might got stuck into the traffic. I took another way then. After crossing several kilometres I stopped at a river crossing bridge and started clicking pictures with compass And continued my ride from Kopar to Thane.

In between somewhere on highway I got a milestone where it was indicating Thane 16 Km. I clicked picture and made a caption, "When I learnt riding cycle, my mom always warned me not to go far from home, and this is how I'm continuing now."

And then after completing that 16km ride finally I reached home and it was another day when I Explored By Compass And Not By Clock.
