Round Trip :
Another day another plan. Me and Dhanashree made a plan of round trip from Thane to Dadar, also asked Shaurya and Tejas Sardar, one of my friend, to join. But because of some their personal problems they didn't come up with me. We are about to leave in the morning at 0600 Hrs. I woke up by the alarm sound as it rang at 0530 Hrs. and checked WhatsApp message from Dhanashree, as she is about to join me for that day. She said that she is unable to come and she will not join me. I was little bit sad and very disappointed and again I slept by keeping my phone away. After waking up at 0900 Hrs. I decided to go for solo round trip to Dadar. I pack my bag weird cargo and camouflage t shirt took olive green hat and by tightening the shoeless I started my journey. I went to the Mahadev temple in our area and then started cycling. I took my way to the Dadar via Eastern expressway. It was very easy part first 5-7 km but then I started feeling dehydrated. I was having only two bottles 500 ml each so I decided I will drink water after completing 15 km. I just remember in my NCC training days that I survived hours and hours without drinking water or eating food. Finally after riding 15 km I reached somewhere in Ghatkopar. I took rest in a shade drunk some water and then again started my ride.
Then I continued my ride by taking my cycle on Eastern Expressway. I was little bit tired as I reached Sion. But the destination was very close to me. So I kept on cycling and finally entered Dadar area. It was little bit confusing and rather than taking right turn at Khodadad Circle I went straight and then took right. I reached at Dadar station and there I asked a person about how to go to the Siddhivinayak Temple. He said take left as I have to take right. He also told me wrong direction and I reached Hindamata Circle, which was far from there. Then I asked a Police Officer, Mumbai Police, and he told me the right direction. I saluted him and continued. Finally crossed the bridge and took way to the Siddhivinayak Temple and reached there.
I said, "Ganpati Bappa... Moraya..." And kneeled down infront of temple on road only. Everyone was staring at me like I was doing something weird. But from deep down of my heart I was bowing down infront of Lord Ganesha. Then I started my ride and took way to the Dadar Chowpatty. It was very great and awesome experience. I was taking that sandy air inside by breathe and cooling myself down. I enjoyed scenary and started clicking pictures.
It is one of my favourite click. And then started clicking pictures by keeping Compass as my signature click.
It was very awesome view that compass is focused and behind that a huge sea and Bandra-Worli Sealink. I calmed down and ate 3 Biscuits only. Afterwards I requested a guy there to click my picture with my cycle.
Then I ran out of water so I filled up bottle and started riding back to the home. Crossed a road and passed by Shivsena Bhavan. Then again took the same way back to the home. I continuously rode on the Eastern Expressway. I crossed Godrej Co. Somewhere near Ghatkopar, I took rest on the service road. As my lower back started paining because I have riden for continuosly 2-3 hours. I just wanted to give up. But then I saw my hat. I made a statement to myself that, "You are wearing olive green hat and which has Tricolour on it, and you wanna give up. No you can't." And continued by saying, "When You Have Olive Green Hat With Tricolour On It You Simply Refuse To Give Up."
Then I clicked my selfie which was very awesome, basically it was very awesome for me and it is the only selfie I liked.
And started my way back to the home. And then without giving a single look to my back pain and listening the songs like, 'Kandho Se Milte Hai Kandhe, Takat Watan Ki Hamase Hai, Maa Tujhe Salam, Kadam Kadam Badhaye Jaa, etc.' I reached home safely. And once again I explored by compass not by clock.
